Why are we doing this?
The primary motivation of doing this initiative is to raise the bar in providing culturally relevant counseling to the South Asian community. In recent years there has been a surge in brokenness and pain in this thriving community. We are seeing unprecedented levels of crisis situations and lack of appropriate help from within. By gathering pastoral, professional and lay counselors, we hope to develop mutuality of care giving and increase awareness of resource and counseling available to serve this community.
